Introduction of WORLDPLACES project

A powerful International Women's Day 2022 to you out there! Today is the perfect occasion to introduce the WORLDPLACES project to you in which we are an action partner.

"WORLDPLACES is the first european network to bring together the two halves of the female working world: those who are accessing a new job market and those who already own. It was born in 2021 in 4 European countries – Italy, Portugal, Germany and Greece – engaged at the forefront of redefining more inclusive labor markets, with particular attention to the synergies between the new and diverse talents of migrant women and the logic and policies of the national labor market."

Doyin Anthony is our action ambassador in WORLDPLACES and speaks about her perspectives on being an entrepreneur from Nigeria living in Germany.

„As a woman and a mother I am facing many challenges. These challenges inspire me a lot. They inspire me to find my way around to achieve what I am aiming for professionally. …
I love doing hair for all different kinds of people. It gives me confidence to beautify them. Afterwards they stand in front of the mirror and are amazed „Wow! This is beautiful. Is this me?“ It’s about bringing my work to the best I can and to treat other people with love. …
There is a person who inspired me a lot to become and champion as a hair designer when I was young. I think it is a lot about passing on the message „Relax! You will cry, you will laugh. Be focused.“ Everything will go on gradually and you are good to go. Besides this I would love to train others at how to make beautiful hair designs and to help newcomers in need.“
